Story
The copper surface already shows darkened areas broken by irregular blue oxidation that shifts across the curved body of the shade. Its straight-sided, rounded form focuses light downward, while the raw copper interior reflects a concentrated beam onto the surface below when in use. The metal thickness gives the fixture a stable, centered hang above a counter or dining table.
Because each shade is worked in small batches by a compact workshop team, the blue pattern spreads differently from piece to piece, with some sections appearing denser than others. Over time, exposure to air and handling causes the darker tones to deepen and the blue oxidation to expand gradually along the hammered impressions.
As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
