Story
Height defines the silhouette here, with the shade dropping in a rounded bell form that narrows toward the top before opening into a clean circular edge. The copper exterior shows a gradual transition in surface tone, shifting from a darker upper section into a muted green oxidized layer that covers most of the lower half. Fine surface working beneath this coloration disrupts reflections, giving the metal a softly varied appearance rather than a smooth finish.
Positioned above a table or counter, the opening directs light downward in a contained spread beneath the shade. The boundary between copper and oxidation remains uneven across each piece, and the surface will continue to shift subtly as the metal responds over time to its environment.
