Story
The transition between exposed copper and green oxidation defines the character of this shade, with the patina spreading across the upper section before breaking into an irregular edge above the lower copper band. Its form follows a rounded bell profile, narrowing gently toward the suspension point while maintaining a broad opening below. Hammered markings remain visible beneath both surface tones, creating subtle interruptions in reflection and giving the metal a visibly worked appearance.
Positioned above a dining table, kitchen island, or counter, the shade directs light downward while the exterior surface remains the primary visual feature. The boundary between oxidation and exposed copper varies naturally across individual pieces, and the finish will continue to develop as the metal reacts gradually to its surroundings.
