Story
Light escapes in fragments through a series of small square openings, breaking softly against the wall before gathering again above and below the fixture. The effect is measured and atmospheric, shaped as much by shadow as by glow.
The sconce itself is formed as a vertical copper cylinder, its surface marked by a deep, flame-like patina that shifts between burnt amber, darkened copper, and smoky undertones. These variations move across the metal irregularly, giving the piece a sense of depth even when unlit. The perforations interrupt the surface rhythmically, allowing pinpoints of light to pass through while maintaining the solidity of the form.
